Calls are counted by the second, so an average of 2.5 minutes counts as 2.5. A short demo question is often a minute or two. A full walkthrough can run ten or more. Our benchmark will publish real call lengths from the sample app.

How billing works
- Each call is counted by the second, not rounded up to the minute. A call starts when the guide is ready to listen and ends when the visitor or the guide hangs up. Silence during a call counts.
- Included minutes reset each month. Minutes you already paid for are never taken back mid-month.
- Minutes past your plan are charged at your plan’s per-minute rate, up to the monthly limit you set.
- When you reach your monthly limit, the button hides until you raise it. Calls in progress finish.
- No setup fee. The trial minutes need no card.

Why per minute
A live conversation costs us money for every minute it runs: speech recognition, the voice, and the model that decides what to do. Charging by the minute keeps our price tied to what you actually use, and it lets you predict the bill from two numbers.
When we publish our benchmark, it will include our own cost per call-minute, measured against our provider bills.
