Showalong and Storylane
Storylane lists two product lines on its plans page: Demo Suite and RepX. This page records the prices it published when we checked, and how its units compare with per-minute billing. We haven’t run the two products side by side yet.

Plan tiers, visitors and call minutes
Demo Suite is priced in tiers from Free to Premium, with a 20% discount advertised for yearly billing. RepX has its own tiers, each with a visitor allowance: 20,000 visitors on Growth and 60,000 on Premium.
Showalong charges for call minutes, not visitors. Many visitors never press the button, and they cost nothing. To compare, estimate how many visitors would start a conversation and how long they would talk.

What we haven’t tested
We haven’t yet run Storylane and Showalong through the same task, so this page says nothing about speed, accuracy or how either one handles a difficult visitor. When we run that test, we will publish the setup steps, the recordings and the bill for both, including where Storylane does better.

- How does RepX count a visitor, and what happens above the allowance?
- Is the 20% yearly discount available on every tier?
- Where does the agent run: inside your live product, or in a copy of it?
- What happens when a visitor asks something you didn’t prepare for?
